1/12/2018: During this class period I made a list of materials and new supplies I might need to be more prepared for my future clients. I also looked up places to get the item for as cheap as possible to make it easier for my mom, since she would be the one to pay for most of the makeup since I don't have a job. I only really narrowed it down to base makeup and an eyeshadow palette. Those are really two of the most important items.
1/19/2018: During this class I fixed all social media pages for my makeup project so that I can find people willing to let me practice on them. Since getting your makeup done is in high demand right now, it is not that hard to find faces to practice on. I also wanted to make sure my social media was all up to date with my business information so that people had a professional way of contacting me.
1/23/2018: Today I presented my thesis powerpoint, and after that, I listened to my classmates' and wrote them feedback notes.

2/8/2018: I was tardy for this class, but when I arrived I worked on planning all of my clients on an according schedule that works best for the client and myself. I have to account for school stuff and a lot of soccer, so I have to make sure I don't overbook.
2/16/2018: I did research to find the best order to apply makeup. For example, I found that doing eyebrows before anything is most efficient. After that it's best to do eyeshadow first and then face makeup like foundation. The reason for this is that eyeshadow tends to have fall out and it gets all over the face, so if you already have the face makeup on, then the fall out messes up everything and sometimes you might have to wipe off all the face makeup and start all over. That is a very inefficient way to apply makeup. I made my own little routine for applying makeup so I have something to stick to every time I do someone's makeup.
2/23/2018: I did research regarding efficiency techniques when applying makeup. My whole deal with this project is that makeup services are highly requested in today's age, and a certified makeup artist can make up to $100 in less than one hour. I'm not in it for the money, but it is just mind-blowing how much makeup has gone from nothing at all to something big and growing.
